MORPHIC DESIGN STUDIO
Morphic Design Studio was founded on the principle of transformation—both in design and in the way people experience space. The name itself evolved from Orphic, a term from Greek mythology meaning difficult to perceive, into Morphic, which speaks to the studio’s focus on form, movement, and adaptability. As a multidisciplinary design firm specializing in both exterior and interior design, Morphic leverages 3D Revit modeling to translate concepts into precise, buildable solutions. From initial vision to final material selections, every detail is considered to create spaces that are both functional and visually compelling. With a design approach rooted in clarity and craftsmanship, Morphic delivers environments that seamlessly integrate structure, aesthetics, and the way people interact with them.
CLIENT FOCUSED DESIGN PROCESS
01. Pre-Design
Every project starts with listening. I want to learn everything I can about you, your lifestyle, and what you’re hoping this home will become. We’ll kick things off with a client interview, an initial site visit, and a deep dive into your goals and wishlist. This phase is all about gathering info: what's working, what’s not, and where we’re headed.
02. Schematic Design
Once we’ve got a clear picture of your hopes and the project scope, we’ll start translating all of that into early design ideas. This includes sketches, loose drawings, renderings, and inspiration images. It’s not final yet, but this is where we explore options and talk through the why behind every design direction. It’s a collaborative, creative part of the process.
03. Design Development
Design intent gets refined into something more detailed. We’ll begin selecting interior and exterior finishes, and if we need a structural engineer, this is when they come on board to help lock in the technical details. We’ll also work up a thorough cost estimate, so you have a clear picture of how the design aligns with the budget.
04. Construction Documentation
Once everything’s dialed in, we’ll prepare the full set of construction drawings your contractor will use to build from. This is where all the design decisions get locked in and communicated clearly on paper. If you haven’t already brought a contractor in, this is the point when we’ll bring them into the process.
05. Construction Administration
As construction kicks off, your contractor takes the lead on the build. We stay closely involved, making regular site visits, answering questions, and helping make sure the design is executed the way we envisioned it. Once permitting is approved and construction is underway, our role shifts into procurement support and design oversight.
DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
Jaymie is an interior designer driven by a deep passion for creating spaces where individuals can truly find their sense of belonging. Her approach to design is rooted in the belief that every space should be a reflection of the people who occupy it - an extension of their personality, values, and experiences. With every project, she seeks to craft environments that feel personal, authentic, and empowering, offering a sense of connection and comfort.
Jaymie grew up in Salida, CO and now holds a degree from the CIDA-accredited Architectural Design program at Colorado State University, Fort Collins, with a minor in Sustainability. This educational foundation has provided her with a strong technical expertise in architectural design, along with a deep commitment to sustainable practices and considerations. Her journey into design was inspired by the philosophy and desire to design not just for function, but for deep emotional resonance. She believes that the right space has the power to nurture creativity, inspire well-being, and foster a strong sense of identity. Whether it’s through the careful selection of materials, the flow of natural light, or the attention to every detail in every corner, she aims to design places that are as unique as the individuals who inhabit them.
Her work is centered around the idea that the built environment should be a canvas for self-reflection, offering people the freedom to express who they are and feel at home. By blending aesthetics with purpose, she creates spaces that are not only visually stunning but also deeply meaningful.
